Draft Ordinance on Amendment and Supplementation to Ordinance 7 on Energy Efficiency of buildings was uploaded on the website of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works

On 16 October 2017, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works published a draft Ordinance to amend and supplement Ordinance 7, the reasons for its development, as well as a reference to the submitted proposals for the draft Ordinance.

The following additional reasons necessitating the adoption of this draft are provided:

• regulation of the tolerance of the thermal transmittance reference values through the surrounding building envelope;
• clarification of various concepts such as "energy demand" in view of the different applications of energy generation in buildings, the expansion of heat pumps usage and other modern technologies;
• clarification of the technical meaning of texts such as those related to zoning of buildings;

As part of the minor additions, it is good to mention the standard list supplement by the scope of the Ordinance with harmonised standards, to which national applications for construction products were developed.
